 Marketing Officer

The executive secretary is responsible in organizing and maintaining executive schedule and performing variety of administrative tasks. The role includes, being able to contribute to the efficiency of the overall business by ensuring all assigned administrative duties are carried on timely and efficiently.

  • Maintain agenda and assist in planning appointments, board meetings and conferences.
  • Receive and screen phone calls and redirect them when appropriate.
  • Handle and prioritize all outgoing or incoming correspondence (emails, letters and packages).
  • Make travel arrangements for executives when necessary.
  • Monitor office supplies.
  • Maintain electronic and paper records ensuring information is organized and easily accessible.
  • Handling information requests.
  • File and retrieve corporate documents, records and reports.
  • Greet visitors and determine whether they should give access to specific individuals.
  • Interpret administrative and operating policies and procedures for employees.

8:30am-5:30pm

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management/Administration or related field.
  • Proven work experience of minimum 3 years and above.
  • Excellent computer skills, such as Ms. Office, Ms. excel and Geez etc.
  • In depth knowledge of office management.
  • Familiarity with basic research methods and reporting techniques.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Maintaining professionalism.
  • Fluency in English & Amharic.

The marketing officer is responsible to plan and supervise the company’s marketing activities and campaigns. The role includes to ensure that all marketing operations are successful in meeting the goals set by management. The goal is to guarantee that the marketing efforts of the company add the highest value to its business.

  • Managing different marketing ventures
  • Contributing in the implementation of marketing strategies
  • Supporting the marketing manager in overseeing the departments operations
  • Organizing and attending marketing activities or events to raise brand awareness
  • Plan advertising and promotional campaigns for products or services on a variety of media (social, print etc.)
  • Liaise with stakeholders and vendors to promote success of activities and enhance the company’s presence
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities for promotion and growth
  • See all ventures through to completion and evaluate their success using various metrics
  • Prepare content for the publication of marketing material and oversee distribution

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or any related field
  • Proven work experience of minimum 3 years and above
  • Excellent computer skills, such as Ms. Office, Ms. Excel etc.
  • Solid knowledge of marketing techniques and principles
  • Good understanding of market research techniques, statistical and data analysis methods
  • Thorough understanding of social media and web analytics
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Creativity and commercial awareness
  • A team player with a customer-oriented approach
  • A successful Marketing officer must have great enthusiasm for all things marketing and great knowledge of relevant techniques and principles. The ideal candidate will also be an excellent communicator and will have experience in managing different marketing ventures.
